His kink list is here. Note that all maybes are IC and thus are things he can potentially be talked into but will potentially be uneasy about initially. The No area consists of hard limits. If it's not on the list, feel free to talk to me about it! It's been a while since he's been sexual with anyone (blame in on the fact that the majority of his world thinks people like him are evil and need to be destroyed), so reintroducing him to things is more than encouraged (he's kinkier than he looks, though).
Distinguishing Visuals:
His skin tone is darker than his icons portray, he's more in the bronze range. He's 5'4". He wears strange golden metal cuffs on his ankles and wrists, he has estoeric markings on his forearms and upper arms and other parts of his body in golden metal that seems to be implanted into his skin. He has a chevron made from the same golden metal on a cord he usually keeps on him. He wears a gold amulet on a chain around his neck, and a golden tiara that curls against the center of his forehead. Normally there is a faint shimmer of magic that curls around his body with faint curls and eddies in the air.
Oh. And sometimes he turns into a Chimera. But it's not a big deal. Really.
Temperament:
Topaz is someone who almost always has a smile on his face, and is possessed of a pleasant demeanor. Laughter comes easy, not just to him, but often to those around him. He reaches out to the people around him and will do what he can to make their lives better and try to ensure that everyone survives and accepts people for who they are. But his eyes are colder, and older than he usually passes himself off as, and there are occasionally moments where he can be surprisingly cruel (although generally more by virtue that he's forgotten some facet of normal social interaction than specific intention).
Unless someone has managed to actually upset him in which his temper can be surprisingly volatile. He will generally try to defuse a situation instead of actually fighting over something, and even when things get to that point, dodging and finding ways to escape from combat are generally his preferred avenue Or, being a jerk and casually fighting while standing on the ceiling and reading a book because he thinks he's hilarious. However he is all for casual sparring.
He is both a crafter and a socialite. Talking to him about crafts, magic, the lore of his world (or any other) are all sure ways to be treated to his undivided attention. He much prefers crafting and other academic pursuits to just about anything, and can sometimes be prone to considering what he's doing "too important" until the roof is crashing down around him without someone to get his attention. But, he is also a socialite, and he knows how to play the games of intrigue when he can be bothered to do so. He used to grudgingly hold a post in the Bureaucracy several hundred years ago. He still knows how it works.
The society he was born into was very sexually permissive and tended to slip into debauchery, so he's quite familiar with the idea of courtesans, and people being sold into sexual servitude, even if it's a practice that he doesn't approve of. His objections are more in line with the fact of doing this to people against their will than any particular moral objections to sex work in general. Along these lines, he can be both shameless and uninhibited when something catches his eye. Or someone, for that matter.
